- Jason: You're working too hard, Gaz.
- Gary: Someone's got to.
"I talk to the lads about once a week… including Rob. Yeah, we had the fallout, but he’s different now. In fact, we all are. And I’d love to think we’ll be mates for the rest of our days."
— Gary Barlow (via fuckyeahgarybarlow)
"She was like, ‘What’s this in the newspaper? Did you say bugger off on telly? Did you say bugger off? You shouldn’t be saying bugger off!’… That was an accident by the way, to all you people who watch Live & Kicking! [Pretends to cry] I’m very very sorry, please don’t send anymore complaints because me mum keeps battering me!"
— Mark Owen (talking about his Mum’s reaction to him saying “bugger off” on Live & Kicking.)
"Twenty years in the making! Fifteen years in the waiting! Five years in the deliberating! THIS IS PROGRESS!"
— Robbie Williams
"Ah well, I enjoyed that… BACK TO PANTO!"
— Gary Barlow (on the reunion.)
"‘Mark is better than Rob, Gary, Jason and Howard’. And that’s from Mark and Nirvana."
— Mark Owen (reading the graffiti on his wall)
- Gary: I've lost four stone in all...
- Jonathan Ross: FOUR STONE?
- Gary: Yeah.
- Jonathan Ross: Blimey! [He points at Mark] You don't weigh four stone, do you?! Climb on his back and we'll see how it used to be for him! Shove you up his shirt and you'll only need three tickets on the plane!
"I was in a hotel in London, in bed in the middle of the night, and I woke up to a fireman standing at the end of my bed… and I had a conversation with him, he said to me “I’m really sorry the fire alarm has gone off, you mustn’t have heard it everybody else is in reception…I’m just checking your room to make sure there isn’t a fire”. So I sat up and said okay yeah sure mate, and I remember hearing him go on about the fire alarm, and then he left. So the next morning I came down to reception and said, that was weird last night having a fireman in my room, and they went, “we don’t know what you’re talking about…” so I said, but the fire alarm went off, and they said “…no it didn’t”. Obviously then I started to get a little bit concerned… I can remember his helmet and everything!"

- Gary: I tell you, there's one thing about going around the world that I love, I don't know about you...
- Jason: What's that mate?
- Gary: It's that, I don't know if you've noticed, but I recall every town by the restaurant that's in it. I mean, if you talk about Amsterdam, you're talking about the best Indian in the world, aren't you?
- Jason: Mmm...
- Gary: Talk about Cologne in Germany, you're talking about best French/Italian restaurant you're ever gonna get.
- Jason: Mmm. Actually, y'know, come to think of it...
- [Jason leans forward and prods Gary in the stomach, laughing. Gary, trying not to laugh, shakes his head.]
- Jason: You are looking a little....
- Gary: Don't...! Don't...!
- Jason: You are looking like you've been around the world a couple of times!
"We had between 20 and 30 tracks that needed to be cut down and Elwood gave his verdict on them all. His favourites are ‘Greatest Day’, ‘The Garden’ and ‘Julie’ - all the ones I feature in most heavily. I’ve brainwashed him."
